Full Time - Fixed Term Contract till 28th December 2018

The position is based in Robinvale and works closely alongside a range of community partners through our communities for children program and Parenting Under Pressure Worker.

A key aspect to this position is through flexible Case work, Home Visiting and Community Engagement that assist children and families but the role additionally will also be responsible for overseeing and coordinating a range of activities across the Indigenous Advancement Strategy programmes and other local community engagement initiatives that meet the needs of the local community.

The position objectives includes the following:

  • Getting children into school.
  • Improving education outcomes including Year 12 attainment.
  • Improving youth transition to vocational and higher education and work.
  • Supporting families to give children a good start in life through improved early childhood development, care education and school readiness.

The successful applicant will be expected to have significant previous relevant experience in the field and will be required to hold an accredited qualification relevant to the position at Diploma level or above.
